Unable to connect to wireless network validating identity
I recently bought a new Linksys wireless router and after setting it up with basic WEP security, I tried to logon from my laptop and was successful! So then I tried to connect from my desktop computer that has a wireless USB adapter attached to it and I ended up getting this error message: Fabulous! After initially setting up the Win 7 laptop, in the case of the others I was asked for the security code and the connection was duly established.
Make sure that the WLAN light is on or flashing, check the settings whether the SSID is broadcasted or hide. When you connect to a wireless network, the settings and profile of that specific network is saved on your computer so that you won’t have to re-enter your network credentials, such as the wireless security key to connect the next time.A Service Set Identifier (SSID) is the network name being broadcasted by your TP-Link wireless router. If the Problem is caused by your laptop, please call the support of your laptop.By combining the Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) with Ethernet, an ISP can use Ethernet topologies and still maintain the individuality of user access as if they were using a dial-up modem.
The type of access and choice of service are managed on a per-user basis, rather than a per-site or per-access device basis.
When status is Connected, tap Advanced to view the client's assigned IP address.
